After four nights in a very comfortable room at the Yale club, which is situated right next-door to the Grand Central railway terminal here are a few comments. This is only the third time that I have been to New York City. One is amazed at how much activity is above the ground with masses of skyscraper buildings, but also there’s a great deal below the ground. All the railways converge into the central station underground, and I think also another station called Pennsylvania. I spent a lot of time on the subway which is by far the best way of getting around apart from walking. There is a constant movement of people through the stations, but also in the streets.Times Square is clearly a tourist attraction and best avoided. I did walk through a couple of times on the way to the Theatre. Otherwise there is endless more things to do on further visits like museums other shows and historic sites for another visit it’s been a very enjoyable three and a bit days. Here are a few pictures.
